We had to get Corrie put down yesterday. He was 15 and had been with our family for 12 years, and we're all going to miss him. It will be strange not having him around.
I am still unemployed, unfortunately. I've worked a few days on and off, so I haven't reached the really desperate stage yet.

I just managed to watch 'Sine Qua Non' (still haven't watched the 5 eps before that). I have to say I saw Lee as President waaaayyy back in s1 when he and Roslin had the discussion about the Olympic Carrier. As the symbolic child of Roslin and Adama, he was the obvious choice. I also have to agree with Jacob on TWOP: Lee has started his presidency by showing love for his most unloved of citizens, Romo Lampkin. In his maturity, as well, he learns never to take what Romo says on face value again.
A lot of folk on the forums see Lee as a Harbinger of doom, especially with his line about changing things in the fleet, but I don't. He's grown up, more flexible. He is willing to love Starbuck even if she is a Cylon, he can make hard choices and live with himself. He has flaws up to here, and he's incapable of a dictatorship. He loves democracy too much.
God, can you tell I love Lee? It's like I loved Sam on the West Wing or you know, many of the characters on Star Trek. Idealists.
