Glasgow Panic Show recap with pics and video!
Now as I threatened previously, I stood outside waiting for Panic from 9.30am in the morning, along with
always_august, Nicholas, and a wide host of other crazy people. Recap along with pics and video after the cut!

I got up at 7.30 (ugh, Brendon Urie, I got up early on my day off for you). Then I met up with Nat and Nicholas and we got the train then the underground to the Carling Academy in Glasgow. The weather was, quite frankly, shit. It was wet and cold, but we weren't even the first! There like, ten people before us! So we hunkered in under our umbrellas and sat on bin bags.
As we got talking to the rest of the queue, we realised that we had all been to the same gigs for about the past two years! It was hilarious, and they were all very nice- in fact by lunch we had formed one large mass of wet, cold people. Some of us made a makeshift tent:

Then we realised that HELLO THE TOUR BUS WAS THERE and went round to see if we could spot anyone! I got excited when I saw Zach because I was all 'he is here then they must be too!' and I was right, because THERE WAS SPENCER SMITH AND JON WALKER. They went right inside (I do not blame them, I would have been inside as well if I had any sense). Then someone stuck Ryan Ross' stage outfit out the bus door and people started shouting 'farmer!' because honestly it did look like a farmer outfit. THEN THERE WAS A RYAN ROSS WAVING AND THANKING US. I have no pics of that because I was just really excited and wasn't actually thinking ahead at all.
Then Matertera came by with a lot of food and I felt warmer for a while. I was wearing my big Mikeyway boots so my feet were still dry but god, was I cold. Did I mention it was raining? It was.

Then there was boring ho hum waiting and then we spoke to Zach for a while. I would just like to say that in Britain, burkha does not sound anything like circus, let alone rhyme with it. He also asked us what the age of consent was and teased us about our accents and stuff.
I took a stealth Zach pic ( I was totally thinking of
seanarenay, who loves him) :

Then OMG EVENTUALLY it was time to go inside. I ended up behind Nat, who was RIGHT AT THE BARRIER, AND WE WERE RIGHT IN FRONT OF RYAN ROSS WHICH IS WHY I HAVE AN INSANE AMOUNT OF PICS OF HIM.
But before that- Black Gold and Metro Station. Black Gold were alright, kind of what I classify as Oasis rock. THEN BRENDON URIE CAME OUT AND SANG WITH THEM HERE IS A VIDEO:
Metro Station were excellent, and I did, indeed, 'Shake It' pretty hard.
THEN PANIC CAME OUT AND STARTED SINGING 'WE'RE SO STARVING' AND I TAKE BACK EVERYTHING BAD I HAVE EVER SAID ABOUT YOU, RYRO, I LOVE YOU TRULY. They then launched into 'Nine in The Afternoon' and the whole hall was going crazy. They were obviously really pleased that we knew the words and stuff already. What really made it for me was they were all really obviously happy. I love it when a band are obviously having as great a time playing as you are watching. The setlist was the same as the one published by NME, with some cute re-workings and a solo acoustic 'it's time to dance' from Brendon (when the rest of the band came out, Jon was all 'you were awesome!' or some such thing, with arm-touching. it was pretty). 'White Rabbit' was awesome, with Ryan singing and Jon and Brendon switching guitar and bass. Oh and Brendon and Ryan totally rocked out cutely together.
COME BACK PANIC I AM NOT DONE WITH YOU YET AT ALL.
SORRY ABOUT MY LAME COMENTARY YOU GUYS HAVE MORE PICTURES AND SOME VIDEOS.

It was an incredible day indeed, and as much as being cold and wet displeases me intensely - these photograph's prove it really was worth it.
Snagging the Ryden picture of course!

Sorry still can't see the cuteness. But if anyone had a chance to talk to him would like some-one to remind him that you can move occassionaly.
Oh and please Spencer Smith shave. You may be fed up with people comaring you to a girl but it hasn't done gerard way any harm.
