Then gone back and read your comment and thought, 'hmm, I sound like a kiss ass'? I honestly wasn't paying any attention to the ahem, 'larger scale' of the wank going on in SGA. Minority pairings! Minorities in general!
I agreed with Hth in that people just dismissing writing because of a pairing really kills me, because honestly, sometimes pairings I don't normally read have just got awesome fic and awesome authors. Take Harry/Ron for example. Resonant wrote Harry/Ron (I'm pretty sure it was her) and after reading her Harry/Draco I had to go read it, despite the fact that I really do not enjoy that pairing too much.
But whatever. I've never really been involved in wank and I don't plan to start.
