Happy 2009!

Happy New Year to everyone!

p.s [livejournal.com profile] bluejbird  are you going to Fall Out Boy in Manchester?

Hey, no worries. Life has a bitch of a habit of getting in the way of funtimes, I find. We should reschedule at some point though! I can normally move things around on weekends if you ever fancy grabbing a coffee or whatever.

I can't believe they're not playing further north than Manchester. I was so annoyed and vowed I wouldn't (well, couldn't) go, but I'm doing a drive-of-death to my parents place in the West Midlands on the friday, driving down to Cardiff and back on the Saturday, and then the drive-of-death back to Glasgow the next day. Because apparently I am insane and I love Pete Wentz more than should be possible.

I'm going to AAR but I'm so undecided about the BLG show. Cos. Well. I kind of hate them a little. But I adore Metro Station. It's very difficult. If you decide to go, let me know yeah? As I feel bad dragging any of my non-bandom friends along when it's highly likely I will leave during the BLG set. Oh man, what rock have I been under that Alkaline Trio is playing and I didn't know?

I TA in an undergraduate Biology lab on Thursday mornings which unfortunately means getting to Manchester would be a bitch and a half. Stupid students, needing to learn. Lol.

And I do indeed beta for people. Why, have you written fic? This fills me with glee! If you want me to look it over for you, I totally can! Uh. If that is why you were asking. :)

Sweet. It would need to be like, the 20th? It makes it sound as if I'm important haha, but I'm just really bad at time management.

I know I was really surprised. It seems like the Glasgow date pre-release was bad organisation or something. Sigh. I will go to Manchester, but I go for Patrick, admittedly <3. I am still traumatised by the fact the tickets are £25 and that there were £100 meet and greet tickets. Gross.

Same here- kind of hate BLG (but keep seeing them, sadface) but love Metro Station. Ughhh. I have to make a decision.

Alkaline Trio's in Feb and The Audition are supporting. I am going to have a swooning fit on that day, it will happen. I usually get my info from punktastic.com's rss feed. They post rumours as well so they're quite ahead.

Students, they're so inconvenient. And lazy, and uh, stuff. Yeah :-)

I have indeed, it is Brendon/Bob Bryar college AU of fluff and eternal love. And it is why I was asking, yay! I can email a word doc to you if that's ok?

Yeah, that (tentatively) sounds like a good date! I won't know exactly how busy I'm gonna be this month until monday, but it should be fine!

Ugh, Why can they not play somewhere convenient? M&G tickets are ridiculous.

Let me know if you end up going to BLG. I don't know if I can face them on my own.

And I will have to check out that feed, because I am apparently oblivious to, like, everything that goes on.
